Our shelter has individual apartments allowing us to serve families of all sizes and their pets. Each apartment is professionally designed to promote privacy and healing in a secure space.

Break the Cycle

Children who witness domestic violence are at higher risk for repeating witnessed behaviors as adults. Our Children’s Program creates connections and fosters relationships that promote healing.

Creating Connections

The YWCA provides a safe and healing space for survivors to learn about domestic violence. Clients make meaningful connections with supportive staff and other survivors.

Empowerment

Legal advocates support clients as they navigate the civil legal system and provide assistance with divorce/legal separation, child custody/parenting plans, child support, address confidentiality program, protection orders, safety planning, and more.

The YWCA transforms the lives of domestic violence survivors through safety, healing, and empowerment. We provide safe shelter and comprehensive services for survivors of domestic violence, regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, disability, race or religious affiliation.
